On Thursday 19 April 2012, Diane von Furstenberg, as part of the Pacific Place Fashion Trilogy held a fashion show at the Garden Court atrium of Pacific Place for a select crowd, including celebrity guests Qi Qi, Janet Ma, Lisa S and Irene Wang.
Champagne and delectable french desserts were passed around as guests (and public passer by’s could also watch from the higher levels of the mall) watched the highly wearable clothing from DvF. As a must in any of her collections, the clothes were designed for every day use and heavily featured prints, of which she has become famous for. Of course a wrap dress was also featured, the look that DvF is synomous with. However, there was a strong focus on retro, Mad-Men esque inspired shifts and jumpsuits (a throw back to DvF’s Studio 54 days perhaps?)
