The closing Red Dress Collection Show, featuring red highlight pieces from designers being shown throughout the week. Followed by the MasterCard Luxury Fashion Week Wrap Party, which was glam-bam thank you ma’am! This invite-only bash by Quintessentially at Taubman offices had free-flow everything, including a sake luge!
Also squeezed in an art gallery opening showcasing moody black and white portraits taken by the fashion god Karl Lagerfeld and my own corporate fashion shoot as favour for creative services manager girlfriend at SGS. We got into the “corporate showdown” spirit a.k.a emulating one of my favourite ever screen heroes Rocky.
To round out the action packed fashion week was a party for BC Magazine and free tickets to preview screening of “Bruno”. Hong Kong always gets the movies later than anywhere in the world, but it was worth it taking ‘meine Berliner’ Stef with me who was having fits of laughter at the broken German and Berlin techno songs used (only one in the cinema to be laughing at these intervals mind you).
